Reasons Why You Need The Like To Know It App: How to Use It & Why I Love it!

It’s been a minute but I’m back!

Today I wanted to chat about the LIKEtoKNOW.it App!

What it is, why it’s worth a download & how to use it easily.

What is LIKEtoKNOW.it?

LIKEtoKNOW.it is an app that I liken to Pinterest. You not only shop through it, you are able to follow style and decor instagram accounts that are on it, save your inspirations be it : fashion (women, men & children,) home decor, beauty & lifestyle, create categories for items you want as well as wishlist items.

I’ve included a step by step tutorial below for you to see the ins & outs of the app, how to use it & 5 reasons I love it!

Ok, let’s start!

First Step:

Download the app for Iphone or Android & create an account profile!

Second Step:

Find an account you follow on Instagram with their “Instagram Handle” & “Follow” them in the App.

We will use mine as an example:

Third Step:

Try shopping for something that caught your eye!

Example:

Let’s say there is a bag that I’m sporting in a pic from Instagram that you would like.

1. Screenshot the pic. (Or if you add your email it can be sent to your email account/though I find the screenshot method faster.)

2. Open the LIKEtoKNOW.it app & Click on your profile icon on the righthand side.

3. Slide button to enable screenshot matches.

The photo will auto upload to the app where you are able to view it in the MY LIKES section indicated with the dashed heart icon.

4. Scroll under the pic to view the details on the bag including where to purchase it, pricing & a direct link to it.

5. Click on the image of the bag bellow my pic.

Once “Clicked,” you’ll see details of the product including: price w/ link(s) to shop it, share it, wishlist or add to a collection.

If the item is no longer available, there is usually similar products linked. A lot of accounts will even give you “look for less” options.

Important Note: If you don’t have an Instagram account you can still shop & follow people through the app. It’s linked to Pinterest, Facebook, etc. AND the app has plenty of useful tutorials to guide you through the app in the help center here.

5 Reasons I Love It:

1. I get to shop my favorite images from Instagram in a literal “snap.”

 

2. I can follow my favorite fashion, lifestyle & beauty influencers as well as celebrities.

 

3. I can look up products I want more info on & see examples of it styled

via

the Search & Discover Sections.

4. I’m able to “Heart” items I want to save in my wishlist section.

 

5. I love creating collections similar to Pinterest folders.
