This summer, a dear friend of mine mentioned how much she loved the rental service Le Tote & it perked my interest. I’d already heard of the by mail rental service a few times before…(think Rent the Runway but with more of a variety, from workout clothes, to office appropriate…most importantly an all encompassing wardrobe selection versus the special event only kind. In a nutshell, you pay a monthly fee (There are 3 different tiers ranging from $64 to $84.)
Each tier has clothing and/or accessory options that range from 5 items up to 8 at a time.
You create an account and do a style/fit quiz so their stylists get an idea of what you are looking for, be it casual, office, event, etc…
You have the option to browse & heart items that get placed into your virtual closet so when they’re curating your tote the stylist already has an idea of what things you would like. (Based on the profile quiz and your closet picks.)
Next, and the bestpart(in my opinion,) you get an email/text message when your tote has been styled. You are able to go in and preview every.single.item. you’re getting. (Note: You have 48 hrs. to do this part! Don’t worry they remind you!) If you don’t like something you can simply switch it out & replace it with a different piece you have chosen! I LOVE this feature so much! Who wants to get something they don’t like? Not Me!
When you receive your tote:
You get a pamphlet that gives you the cost breakdown of each item. (You can also view it online.) Wear your pieces & return them when you want. You don’t even launder the items. Le Tote does that for you! (Each piece is dry-cleaned. That means your items come dry-cleaned & sanitized too.)
If you want to keep an item, you get it at a discounted price & you simply don’t send it back in your tote. Want to keep everything? You get all pieces at a discount plus you get your next monthly subscription free!
